Jacek Mąkinia

Professor Jacek Mąkinia - specialist in the field of technology and modeling of wastewater treatment processes, associate professor at the Gdańsk University of Technology. In the 2012-2016 term, Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Innovation of the Gdańsk University of Technology.

He has served as a visiting professor at the University of Washington, Seattle, and the Illinois Institute of Technology. He participated in 16 research projects, most of them as a manager.

Since December 2011, he has been a member of the Environmental Engineering Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He belongs to the Management Committee of the "Nutrient Removal and Recovery" specialist group of the International Water Association and is a member of the working groups of the German Water Association.
